The girls’ golf regionals were completed Wednesday. Erie, Peak to Peak and Prospect Ridge won team titles. Erie’s Hadley Ashton and the Pumas’ Noelle Thompson had individual wins.
Two teams and the next 13 players qualified for the state tournament at each region.
The state tournaments are slated for May 30-31. Class 5A is at Black Bear Golf Club in Parker. Class 4A is at Thorncreek Golf Course in Thornton. 3A is at Aspen Golf Club in Aspen.
3A Region 3
Peak to Peak’s Noelle Thompson won at Sky Ranch Golf Course by 12 strokes Monday, carding 6-over-par 78, leading the Pumas to a region title and an automatic state qualification.
Thompson will be among the favorites to win the 3A title next week. She finished second at state a season ago, while Peak to Peak finished fourth as a team.
At regionals, teammates Shriya Sharma (91) was third, Kaylee Craig (95) sixth and Ava Sommer (97) ninth.
Also qualifying was a three-timer in Jefferson Academy’s Samantha Duncan (97), who finished 16th at state in 2022 and 18th in 2021, as well as Freja Hampton (104), who was 63rd in 2022.
3A Region 2
Prospect Ridge’s Hope Torres finished second to last year’s 3A champ, Maddy Bante of St. Mary’s Academy. Carding 1-over-par 73 Monday, the sophomore led the Miners to a five-stroke win over the Wildcats and an automatic berth to state.

Teammates Leyni Stavola (85) finished sixth and Kate Dinges (87) was ninth.
PRA finished second at the 3A meet last spring. Torres finished fourth in the individual race.
4A Region 3
Erie sophomore Hadley Ashton continued her undefeated run through the high school landscape at The Fox Hill Club Tuesday, hoping to make it 2 for 2 in state titles next week. The Tigers won by 27 strokes over second-place Holy Family.

Ashton won with a 2-under-par 70, teammate Logan Hale was second at 78 and Holy Family’s Finley Holmes was third at 82. Other Erie players included Hollyn Drennen (86) and Taylor Hale (92). Holy Family’s other three were Steffi Heitz (87), Fiona Holmes (92) and Liesel Heitz (97).
Niwot finished third, qualifying three individuals in Alena Kasanicky (86), Mina O’Dell (86) and Kate Jones (102). Frederick finished fourth, sending Zoe Martinez (95), Ella Hoople (100) and Hannah Donaldson (102).
Other local qualifiers included Centaurus’ Julia Love, who finished ninth with an 89. Silver Creek qualified two in Brielle Hickman (93) in 12th and Anna Davidson (101) in 18th.
4A Region 2
Broomfield’s Lexie Chenoweth and Ashley Fiala qualified for the state tournament at Legacy Ridge Golf Course Monday, finishing 11th and 18th respectively.
Chenoweth carded 21-over-par 93 and Fiala 98. Both are headed to the state tournament for the first time.
Windsor won the region behind individual winner Macy Kleve’s 74.
5A Northern Region
Fairview juniors Ava Hickey and Jessica Levy qualified for state with respective 10th and 12th-place finishes at Flatirons Golf Course Tuesday.

Hickey carded 15-over-par 85 at the regional and is headed to the 5A tournament for the third straight season. She finished 16th in 2022 and 31st in 2021.
Levy scored an 86 and is headed to the state tournament for the first time.
The Knights finished fifth as a team in the region. Cherokee Trail, led by Kaleigh Babineaux’s 66, won the region.
5A Western Region
Monarch’s Pippa Cooper and Lillian Dehner qualified for the state tournament, finishing 11th and 13th at Adobe Creek National Golf Course Tuesday.
Cooper carded 16-over-par 88, Dehner 89. Both are headed to the state tournament for the first time.
Valor Christian won the region behind Brenna Higgins’ 70.
5A Central Region
Legacy’s Ayla Milan finished fourth in the region, carding 7-over-par 79 at Pine Creek Golf Club.
Milan is headed to the state tournament for a third straight season. She finished 23rd in 2022 and 32nd in 2021.
Teammate Amelia Barr also made the cut, carding a 94.
5A Southern Region
Boulder was scheduled to play at the region but had no golfers participate due to finals and other commitments, per Panthers AD Ryan Bishop.
